Come With Me explores the choice between escapism and confrontation each day in an increasingly media-inundated reality. Throughout the work, audiences are invited into three distinct worlds, each with their own vibrancy, rules, and motivation for the escape.

After witnessing an undefined, collective moment of shared trauma on TV, eight dancers first move into a space of fantasy. They distract themselves and one another, play games, and avoid anything too difficult or inconveniencing. When this world is no longer sustainable, they move into a meditative state, working to accept the complexities surrounding them. This zen garden approach is eventually interrupted by unaddressed, bubbling frustration. The final world explores confrontation - a constant fight to rationalize suffering at an inhumane pace.

Each dancer has their own arc - whether tenuously connected to reality or unable to escape it. Only together are they able to find some semblance of balance that allows them to keep moving forward.
